HOW WE GOT FROM OMELET TO FISH STICKS!!

When I mentioned making dinner last night, William immediately said" I wanna make eggs!"
I knew what that meant... William wants not only to eat eggs, but make eggs!!! He wants to get them out of the fridge (-1 egg) , he wants to carry them to the table (-2 eggs) , he wants to crack them himself oh ,and Alex wants to join in ...

So they take turn breaking the eggs ( -4 egg) ...

Alex telling Will to do like him...(-5eggs) Of course we pick up a few pieces of shell out of the eggs, someone told me one day if i swallowed egg shell, i would have to have an appendectomy..

Anyways, so i get the milk , cheese and stuff out...

They are doing very well... still stirring... and getting ready for the next step...

(I think the omelette could have been named" the deadly tornado" !!!<-----Ok , I typed this in last night , and I have NO flippin clue where that came from or why I even thought I should name an omelet....I promise I didnt drink, i was just exhausted falling asleep...)

We are ready to add stuff in , when out of the blue ,William ,possessed by some kind of demoniac forces, decided to spit in the eggs!!!(-10 eggs)There went dinner...

That is how we went from delicious cheese omelet to nasty fish stick for our meal...

SOOOOOOOOOO, What i was wondering is how many of you would have kept on going and served a wonderfully , made with spit love omelet and not said anything ???

Ewwww.....not a chance! I don't care for eggs though so it wouldn't have hurt my feelings too much, lol!

hmmmm... depends on who we are serving and how desperate and starving we are..... The heat from cooking kills all the bacteria and stuff right??? ;)

I personally wouldn't have eaten them if they were served though!

Well, what the other kids don't know won't hurt them....heehee! As for me well it would depend on how much spit and which child...crazy huh'. Have you ever really thought about what we really get with Fast Food...well don't, your better off! Cereal is always a good back up at my house! Love ya

Hmmmm....cooking would kill the germs right? LOL! And it's not like my kids aren't spitting all over each other anyway. I would let the spitter enjoy his ten egg omelet. I don't think I could force it into my own mouth though.

Oh Mimi--what is it with boys? My youngest would have done the same thing. And NO, I wouldn't have gone on to cook the eggs! EWWWW! Blessings, Shari!

Think I might have given the kids eggs and made something else for myself. Or eaten the eggs with a vodka chaser because that would have killed the germs right?

Sadly, I think I would have probably served it (I'll eat just about anything!), said nothing until after my husband ate and then tortured him with the truth . . . . ha ha ha (insert Mr. Evil laugh here)

No chance...germ-a-phobic here. But they would have gotten the lecture on wasting food and the starving people in Mississippi.
(I watched Emeril one night and he was talking bout the devastation after Katrina, so I always use that as an example). And of course the cost of eggs...wait, eggs are cheap that's why we eat so many. Oh, convicted heart. I'd apologize and we'd STILL NOT eat the eggs! LOL.

Love you, T

I would have totally eaten the eggs :) They would have been cooked, right? How funny, boys will be boys I guess. Although it makes me think, last night I was at Subway and the guy cutting my bread scratched his sweaty head with the knife he was using to cut bread. Hmmmm...total yuck!

I read both your blogs and continue to be amazed by your strength and courage. I pray for you and your family daily, and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such an encourgement and support system to so many other people.

I recently was referred to this blog, and thought you might be interested in reading it. Before delving in make sure to read the very first post they made. So much of what I read makes me think of you.

OH, we would have been having omelets and there may have been some giggles and looks during dinner but the secret would't have come out untill after :O

I guess I'm not in the majority, but I also think some of them lie :) I will timidly raise my hand and say, cook it well, don't tell anyone, and call it building antibodies. Try really hard to forget about it before tasting any, or eat something else on the side to fill up. :)

I just about peed my pants! That is hillarious! From one germophobe to another, I think the fish sticks were the right choice! LOL

I think I would have eaten them...depends on how much spit was in them, or if it was one of those snot hockers. When my grand daughter was young, she used to pick her nose and eat it and say, boogers tasted like eggs! Made me wonder if that's where Dr. Seuss came up with the title "Green Eggs & Ham" I think I'll have cereal for breakfast this morning!

OK, that was an adorable, adorable, ADORABLE video.

And how funny that I did not see this yet I posted a video with eggs as well.

Great minds think alike!

depends whether anyone else saw the spit go into the eggs. ;-)

Yep, would have served them - as long as the spitter was free from illness!
